ENGLISH
Two dogs accidentally ingested oral minoxidil tablets, with estimated exposures of 1.1 and 1.52 mg/kg. Both developed sinus tachycardia, hypotension and substantial cardiac troponin I elevation; one required vasopressor support. Signs resolved by hospital day two, followed by discharge. These are two case observations. The reported exposures are not treatment doses and do not establish a safe exposure threshold.
